Julgrän, 2018
Julgrän, literally "Christmas tree" in Swedish, is typically associated with the private property (gardens, homes) and the city public spaces. My christmas tree is, however, lost in the deep forest, outside the city. A way to reclaim the space, to transform a space into a place and last but not least, a way to celebrate the Christmas tree in absence of a private garden. The tree is inspired by the ancient law "Allemansrätten" (freedom to roam), stating that the forest belongs to anybody and therefore no barrier are allowed.
